Poppodium de Meester provides live music every evening in the beautiful Utopia forest theater and at Hortus catering square. The Almere pop venue created a program especially for ALLUMINOUS with local musical heroes. Food trucks will be set up at both locations to provide a bite to eat and a drink. In short, a lot of fun!

DJ Bradley Moos - Horecaplein Hortus

DJ Bradley Moos has been DJing for almost 5 years now and has gained a lot of experience with different music styles in that time. You might know him from his DJ gigs at Café 1e Rang. He is an extremely versatile DJ who always plays to the audience and the atmosphere, but his passion is house.

This Indie/Alternative band, started in January 2023, found each other through their shared interest in various indie bands such as Mac DeMarco, The Backseat Lovers, Mako Road, The Arctic Monkeys and Spacey Jane. During the day they all have a normal 9-to-5 job, but they are always “daydreaming” about the next song they are going to make, hence the name 'The Dayshift Dreamers'. In January 2024 they released their debut EP with the songs 'Breathe' and 'That's Not Me'. More music (and possibly an album) will follow in 2025.

DJ AL59 is a passionate DJ from Almere with a deep love for vinyl and a rich, personal music collection. With a preference for genres such as progressive house, deep house, techno and old school, he creates unique sets that feel both nostalgic and innovative. In addition to his love for house music, AL59 also likes to play accessible styles. Whether it's a company party, school party or wedding party, AL59 always creates an energetic atmosphere that makes it hard to stand still. He brings every party to life with his unmistakable sound and plays to a highlight every night.

GITTA DE RIDDER is an artist from the Netherlands and England who stands out for her pure and simple artistic approach that immediately touches the heart of even the biggest sceptic. "Packed with love, warmth and introspection. A Mary Poppins & Joni Mitchell hybrid providing a musical antidote to any soul-ailments with a spoon full of song".
After living in London for 10 years, the singer and songwriter has been living in the Dutch 'Nieuwe-Land' of Flevoland since early 2018, where she grew up in her early years. Inspired by the modern and traditional Folk-Scene and the temptation of a Pop-Hook that stays with you, she writes songs that have unexpected depth but at the same time feel light and authentic. With the three albums and previous EP that she released between 2014 and 2020, she has already had more than a million streams on Spotify, had airplay on UK's BBC6, BBC Scotland, IRE1, 8Radio Ireland and Dutch Radio 2, 3FM, Radio 5, Veronica and many local stations and received many rave reviews in Dutch and English publications.

DJ Simi Groove is a 17-year-old all-round DJ from Almere with a passion for playing the best party music. With his energetic mix of top 40 hits, funky house, disco, Dutch sing-alongs, etc., he knows how to transform every party into an unforgettable, fun experience. Whether it's a cozy occasion or a banging club night, he plays everything with a good vibe and ensures a perfect balance between feel-good and danceability.
Monday 28-10: Resonance & DJ Nelis

Resonance is a four-piece alternative rock band from Almere formed in 2018. The four members consist of lead vocalist Daniel de Zwart, lead guitarist Ricardo Maldonado Sevilla, bassist Jip de Vries and drummer Sam Deckers. Their versatile music takes influences from Jeff Buckley, Radiohead and Nothing but Thieves, among others. From screeching guitars to melancholic ballads, this band knows how to drag the audience into a fantastic show full of energy and musicality.
DJ Nelis - Horecaplein Hortus

Niels Hanewald (Nelis) is a DJ with a great love for electronic music. Niels is mainly inspired by music from before his birth year. He mixes these oldschool sounds with contemporary tracks in which old and new get a separate sound. His 'sound' is mainly groovy, hypnotic and activating house/techno from which he will sometimes deviate to create more creativity in his sets.

Lazy Barons is a wonderfully relaxed 5-piece 'fun band'. These barons are certainly not lazy, but they are super relaxed! They play acoustic music. Sometimes amplified, sometimes at a whisper level, often recognizable and often great while eating or drinking. Secretly, their music is also very danceable!
DJ Eloy Hoose - Horecaplein Hortus

Eloy Hoose grew up in Almere. He was inspired by artists like Avicii, Martin Garrix & Skrillex and started producing his own music at the age of 14 in 2017. In 2019 he started his studies at the Herman Brood Academy. His music is very danceable and energetic and radio stations SLAM! FM & Radio 538 regularly play his music. He also managed to attract attention from bigger artists which resulted in a debut release on the Pink Panda label of Dutch DJ legend Hardwell. He also gets support from Don Diablo, Nicky Romero, Mike Williams & Laidback Luke.
Thursday 31-10: HEM/RAN & DJ Bradley Moos

HEM/RAN is the solo project of singer/songwriter Hemran Sabity. He comes from the underground punk scene of the Netherlands and now surprises by showing a completely different side of himself. Expect jazzy tunes that tell a beautiful personal story.

Oes is the new voice in Dutch pop that transcends genres. With influences from reggae, cabaret, jazz and electronic beats, she creates a unique mix that both touches and refreshes. Her warm voice, playful vibrato and sincere lyrics take you through the highs and lows of life. Expect music that unleashes emotions, from moving ballads to energetic up-tempo tracks. With her debut album Over Hoop on the way, Oes is ready to claim her place in the Dutch music scene - modest, but determined.
